Zehtuka's Pack
So i read about this on wiki about Zehtuka's Pack:
Zehtuka's Pack is a mysterious item that can be found in the Poisoned Outcrops,The Sulfurous Wastes, The Shattered Ravines, The Alkali Pan, The Ruptured Heart or Joko's Domain. It has a chance of appearing in any of those explorable areas, but each area has only one spot for it to appear at. I tried Ruptured Heart 2times and The Sulfurous Wastes, but havent found any pack, is it just i have no luck or what... coz im not really into going to the same place again and again... |

This - I've never found his pack either - just his bow and horn.
(Edit) OR his jug - damn, forgot about that one.

Not much reason to have it outside of 'collector' status. It is no different than a bag with a rune of holding used on it, but it is named. But it has a relatively low drop rate, so you could visit the locations it spawns many times and never see it show up.

Keep trying- Although i cannot see the point. Would you rather go to the merchant and spend 600g or walk in and out of an outpost for hours, HOPING that the pack will spawn?

If you put the horn, the bow and an identification kit all together in the pack you open the secret Rurik level

It will eventually spawn. I've got 2 of the packs on my Assassin. Good Luck!

You went out there TWO TIMES and it wouldn't drop???? omg you are so unlucky!
Seriously dude, welcome to Farming 101. You are almost always going to have to try several times to get the item you want to drop. That goes for most farms in the game. |

strange, I've never gotten his bow, horn, or pack to drop, I just keep finding his jug...guess the gods of drop-rates want me to get drunk?

Hello - I've been looking for Zehtuka's Pack - just for fun and completeness. i know it's no different to an ordinary pack or the two Charr Bags I use now, but like they say about mountains: "Because it's there"...
Or rather, actually it never seems to be there. I'm actually quite happy to do repeated tours of the drop zones whenever I have five minutes, until I find it, but I'd be interested in any tips people might have. Any difference between NM or HM? I prefer to go hard mode because then the locked chests make the trips more profitable. Any idea on drop rates - am I looking at 5-10 trips or 50-100 before I have a reasonable expectation of picking it up? Does it tend to appear close to the drop points listed in the Wiki so that ";-space" will pick it up, or is it worth exploring further around the area? Thanks in advance, but please no more comments about how I should just get an ordinary bag and not bother ;-) |

I, like you, wanted one of these just for completeness, so every few days i'd make 3 or 4 runs for it in the Alkali Pans. Took me almost 2 years before i saw it, must be well over 200 runs. But then my luck isn't always great.

You'll note in the Wiki entry that the items spawn in only one particular spot (per area), which makes it a bit easier as you don't need to search the entire area to find it. For example, there is a small shrine-like place in the middle of Crystal Outlook where Zehtuka's Great Horn spawn, which you can check on your way by.
http://www.guildwiki.org/Zehtuka%27s_Great_Horn Zehtuka's Pack can spawn in several zones, but always in the same place within a zone. http://www.guildwiki.org/Zehtuka%27s_Pack |

Got one of these years ago while running Buried Treasure in Ruptured Heart (next to Jehner) and haven't seen one since. A mix of luck and persistence is really the only way to get one without paying for it.
